Collaboratory projects address our goals and seek to produce relevant STEM education outcomes related to our focus on student success, educator effectiveness and community engagement and support. Initial projects include:
-
Computing the Future – Develop advocacy and support for computer science education in our local K-12 schools.
-
Experiencing the STEM Spectrum – Foster excitement and support for STEM education in the broader community, while promoting networking opportunities between educators, families, and community partners, through shared, authentic STEM experiences.
-
STEM Flicks – Increase understanding of real-life applications of STEM by connecting Mid-Columbia K-12 students and their teachers, via video, to local examples of STEM in the workplace.
